"Achieving 100% Renewable Energy: Opportunities and Challenges" by the IRENA Coalition for Action to be launched in Bonn

At ISES, our mission is 100% renewable energy for all - and we are thrilled to announce that two of our ISES Board Directors Dave Renne and Chiel Boonstra contributed to a report that will be launched by the IRENA Coalition for Action on how to achieve this goal of 100% renewables, and what opportunities and challenges are there along the way.

On Tuesday, 17 June from 12:00 - 15:30 CEST the report will be launched at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Innovation and Technology Centre in Bonn, in parallel to the UNFCCC SB62 meetings. Dave Renne will represent ISES at a Roundtable discussion - this event will be hybrid so you can all participate and listen in!

• The launch of Coalition for Action's: "Achieving 100% Renewable Energy by 2050"

• IRENA’s framework for overcoming technical and infrastructure barriers in the power sector

• A multi-stakeholder dialogue between government, industry, and civil society to examine the opportunities and challenges of a fully renewable energy future.
